About
Susan grew up under the vast Wyoming sky, where she learned to look up, dream big, and embrace wide-open possibilities. That same curiosity and openness guided her west to the Bay Area, where she built a career as a creative leader in biotech advertising. Along the way, she gained hard-won insights: leadership isn’t about titles, money buys you great shoes but doesn't make you a better person, and if you can name your five core values, you’re ahead of the game.
With years of experience in the ad industry, Susan has led award-winning creative teams and built an in-house agency that delivered both business impact and powerful storytelling. But what truly fascinated her weren’t just the campaigns—it was the people: the mentors who lifted others up, the work spouses who made the grind worth it, and the difficult bosses who taught what not to do. These experiences cemented her belief that leadership is as much about emotional intelligence as it is about expertise.
A lifelong student of human behavior, Susan earned a PhD in Psychology, studying mythology and gender in film. She has always been drawn to the deeper narratives that shape culture, identity, and leadership. She also holds an ACC from the ICF. As an executive coach, she helps leaders uncover their own narratives—understanding what drives them, where they’re headed, and how to lead with authenticity.
Her coaching is built on active listening, sharp insight, and a strategic focus on aligning personal values with professional goals. She doesn’t lead—she partners. Because leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about asking better questions, embracing change, and moving forward with purpose.
